In a few days I will be going to Wounded Knee, South Dakota with our church group. I am so looking forward to it and pray that whatever God has in store for me there...I will accomplish it. I will hopefully be leading a ladies Bible Study and getting to know the Lakota people and their culture as well as sharing my love for all God's creation. My granddaughter, Karen, has gone in the past and encouraged me to just go and love them and that is what I want to do. I would especially appreciate prayers on July 3rd thru July 9th for the Holy Spirit to be with me and to be used in a way that is out of my comfort zone...I want to serve Him foremost.
This is where I am happy...in my home away from home. I love the outdoors and hearing the sounds of nature in the early morning. I love cooking when I am camping and coming up with new ways to cook and serve my husband. I love to camp when it is raining, when it is sunny, it is just nice to leave everything behind and not have anything more to think about than what book to read or just sitting and watching my puppies. My dream is to have a special camping trip with my kids coming and camping also. We had a wonderful time at Shakamak State Park one year and even though it rained alot and was hot..it was a wonderful memory and that is what I am looking forward to more and more. I am a people watcher also and get a kick out of some of the things I see when I am camping. I am looking forward to the end of July and going to our next destination where ever that may be....the clean and ready camper awaits!
